"I believe that we can get things done more quickly and efficiently when we work with people who have different viewpoints, versus working against them. My style is like a mediator's, balancing the interests of different parties."
                                     -Wendy Chau, Esq.

WENDY'S STORY

Wendy has been a proud resident of San Francisco for 10 years since 2006 and has lived in the Lower Nob Hill neighborhood since 2008. She first arrived in the Bay Area in 1998 for her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. It was there that, as a major in legal studies and as a social services volunteer in the community, she became inspired to protect the civil rights of underrepresented and underserved populations.

After getting her B.A. degree in Santa Cruz, Wendy earned her J.D. degree at John F. Kennedy University in San Francisco. Today, Wendy serves our local community as a civil rights and personal injury attorney, running her law practice downtown. Her passion is to advocate and protect the underserved populations through changes in case and legislative law.

As a first-generation immigrant from Vietnam, and as the first in her family to attend college, Wendy embraces change and is ambitious in her pursuit of it in our changing times. She is running for San Francisco’s Democratic County Central Committee to help propagate the platform of the Democratic Party and work on the issues that are important to our community.
